Your answers should be in the body of the message whenever
possible. For example, composing your answers in your favorite
word processor and then cutting and pasting the reply into the body of
an email message generally works fine. If you use HTML,
please make sure that your HTML is self-contained -- broken links or
files that cannot be read without a network connection will be severely
penalized. Attachments using other file formats, unless
specifically required by the assignment, will be returned unread.
Modeling assignments:
will be given out on Tuesday in class and will be
due next Tuesday by noon. These
are to be submitted ONLY via email.
The subject of these emails must be "HWx"
where x is the homework
number as we call it on the homework website. The one thats due the
first Tuesday is HW0.
The homeworks will be graded on a scale of 0 to 10, 10
being the highest you can get on those. Late assignments will be
accepted, but there will be a penalty -- you will lose 3 points per day
after Tuesday noon.
Reading critiques: are
due Tuesday before class begins. Please
email the
critiques to us, plain text in the body of email, AND bring a hardcopy
of the critiques to class (if you couldnt find a printer, a
legible
hand is acceptable). There will be NO exceptions -- we wont accept
these critiques late at all. Please refer to the guidelines for
writing critiques.
The subject of your Reading Critique email should be "Reading
Critique x" -- where x is the week number as per the
syllabus. The first week is week 0.
